DAY 1 : Departuring at 9:00 am from Manaus floating harbour, the boat will take us futher upstream, traveling on the amazing Amazon River, as far as, JANAUCÁ LAKE, where you have the opportunity to participate of a fantastic program. There you’ll really be impressed by the exuberant vegetation, this place is perfect to photographs and to get amazing films. At midday, it’ s time to taste delicious Amazonian food. After having lunch, let’ s take a wonderful canoe-ride among the narrow creeks and the flooded jungle in order to see deeply this beautiful region. Next, we will advance with our boat further upstream on the lake. Then, we will arrive to a small bay, which many birds and fantastic landscapes can be seen along this giant lake.
Afterwards, in the late afternoon, a fascinating program await us, so that, we’ll take the special canoes, and will proceed to a region called GARÇAL (herons), where thousands and thousands of herons can be observed, specially in the early morning by sunrise. This is, for sure, one of the best parts of the program. You’ll see many other species of birds; the scenery is really breathtaking, every creek present themselves as if it were an outstanding Amazonian gateway. After, we will go back to the boat for lunchtime and in the afternoon an exciting program will be organized. Next, returning back to the boat in late afternoon for dinner, then, in some minutes we must be ready for one more activity: an exciting alligator tour by night, where small and big alligators will be captured with our bare hands or with strings depending on the size of those animals, certainly released after observation. Sleep on the boat.
DAY 2 : At 7 o’clock a delicious breakfast will be served, afterwards, a fantastic canoe-ride will start, this time to catch the voracious piranhas, some of them in amazing size, you enjoy catching those smart fishes. In some minutes prepare yourself to see and visit “ THE LAND OF GIANTS TREES “ where you will be really surprised with huge size of those vegetal, considered certainly as one of the biggest tree in the world. Then, our motorized canoes will take us to visit indian settlements, in order to know their, culture traditions, work, manioc plantations, tropical fruits, sugar cane, etc. Next, we will return back to the boat for lunch. So, we will departure upstream on the Rio Negro, as far as, ALLIGATOR creek, where a nice canoe-trip will be organized, in order to know the narrow-water way of the Rio Negro and its charming flooded-wood-lands. After canoeing, you may experience a wonderful dip on the warm water of the Rio Negro. Dinner and sleep on the boat.
DAY 3 : After breakfast the boat will take us too much futher upstream on the Rio Negro, where, we will cross the biggest FRESH WATER ARQUIPELAGO in the world “ ANAVILHANAS “. Thus, our riverboat will get to CUIERAS RIVER, where a delicious lunch await us. Then, the boat will start advancing some Kms throughout this river, where a wonderful jungle program will happen. Afterwards, an exciting canoe-ride will be our next attraction. This time, to go in canoes into the narrow water ways leading us to the heart of the wild Amazon forest. You will have time to visit the exotic flooded-jungle as well, observing contrast with those of the Amazon river, where vegetation and scenario are completely different from region to region. At 7 o’clock pm, dinner will be ready. It’s time to experience an exotic canoe-ride by night, to hear the sounds of the forest; which, in fact, form a fascinating symphony into the jungle. Sleep on the boat.
DAY 4 : Breakfast will be served at 7 o’clock, an exciting JUNGLE WALK await us, so, you’ll get on the canoes, and you’ll travel throughout a beautiful tributary of Cuieras River, where our JUNGLE WALK will start. There, you’ll see hundreds species of plants, as well as, orchids, exotic flowers, many sorts of medicinal herbs, huge trees etc. You will hear uncanny sounds of differents species of birds. Afterwards, Before lunching, you can have a swim, on the refreshing water of this river. In the afternoon, we will visit the CABOCLOS (natives which live on the riverbanks). Next, we will start travelling downstream on the Rio Negro to the middle of the ANAVILHANAS ARQUIPELAGO, where, we’ll spend the night.
DAY 5 : Before breakfast at 5 o’clock, our confortable motorized canoes will take us to see the fantastic and amazing sunrise, then, we will return back to the boat for breakfast. Next, canoe-ride among the islands and lakes of the huge Arquipelago. lunch will be served on a beautiful white sandy beach of Rio Negro. We will Visit indian natives along the river, then, we’ll start our trip back to Manaus. End of the trip, transfer to the hotel or to the airport.
