4 days tour

DAY 1 : Leaving by boat from Manaus, you will travel downstream on the Rio Negro, navigating close by the exotic houses on the stilts, the fish market, the oldest district of Manaus, seeing the local people getting on typical passengers riverboats. Then, we will proceed further upstream on the Rio Negro, as far as, the famous MEETING OF THE RIVERS where Rio Negro’s black water, meets the Solimões’s brown water forming the mighty and wonderful Amazon River; there, you’ll see some species of dolphins frolicking above the water.
Afterwards, our boats will take you to TERRA NOVA ISLAND, (the biggest island of the rain forest, formed for more than 65 natural lakes), there you will see : tropical plants, fruits, manioc plantations, a huge rubber tree plantation etc. You will have a chance also to have an exciting walk on the island and see natives extracting latex from the rubber trees. Then, a delicious lunch will be served on board ; Next, we will proceed to the fascinating JANAUARY LAKE, which will allow you a wonderful and exciting canoe ride amidst narrows-channels and the amazing flooded-jungle. Visiting also the famous water-lilies, some of them of astonishing size. There, you will see alligators swimming around the plants, and opportunity to see huge alligators you can certainly appreciate a luxuriant vegetation all around the lake.
Late in the afternoon, you’ll experience an exciting canoe-ride throughout the narrow-creeks of the Amazon region; where you’ll watch the exotic vegetation, observing monkeys and plenty of birds. Thus, we will be visiting typical floating house. Afterwards, we will advance into the lake in our motorized canoe, suddenly, some Indians children will appear in their typical canoes showing exotic animals, where you will have chance to take wonderful photographs. Afterwards, you will enjoy catching those fierce and voracious piranhas. Then, in few minutes you will be appreciating one of the most beautiful nature scenery, the incredible Amazonian sunset. After that, returning back to the boat for a delicious dinner, and in one hour visitors will experience one of the most exciting canoe-ride by night to catch alligators. You will see natives catching them with their bare hands and release those animals after observation. (Sleep on board).

DAY 2 : At 7 o’clock a delicious breakfast will be served, it’ s time to travel upstream on the Rio Negro, as far as MACAW CREEK, where you’ll take a fantastic and fascinating canoe-trip throughout the fascinating narrow-channels of the Rio Negro, observing the contrast with those of the Amazon River. You will visit the hinterlands and beautiful places of that fantastic region. There, you will be impressed by the amazing bio-diversity.
Before returning back to the boat, our special motorized canoes will take us to the wonderful and paradisiacal white sandy beaches of this river, where, you’ll have time for a nice and refreshing dip. Next, we will return back to the boat for lunch. So, we will start travelling futher upstream on the Rio Negro, as far as, the biggest fresh water ARQUIPELAGO in the world, ANAVILHANAS, concentrating roughly 400 islands located in the middle of this huge river, forming a giant labyrinth of islands; which, you’ll have a wonderful program, such as: canoe-rides amidst islands, bird observation, piranha fishing, appreciating also a wonderful Amazon scenery. At night, dinner will be served, afterwards, we have time for an exciting canoe trip by night among the island, this time, to hear the extraordinary noises of the forest. Then, sleeping on board amidst the Arquipelago.

DAY 3 : In the early morning about 5.00 o’clock, an exciting canoe-ride will be done, in order to see the incredible amazonian sunrise in the middle of the Anavilhanas Arquipelago. Then, we will return back to the boat for breakfast. Next, our boat will cross on the Rio Negro, as far as JARAQUI CREEK in order to start our fascinating jungle walk throughout the huge and dense Amazon Rain Forest. Surely, you will be impressed by the uncanny sounds of the jungle, with its agile monkeys, birds, animals, beautiful flowers, colorful butterflies, exotic beetles, exotic plants, water-vines, medicinal herbs and giant trees.
Next, you may have a swim and relax in the River. Afterwards, a delicious lunch will be served on the boat or at a wonderful white sandy beach of Rio Negro. After that, the boat will proceed futher upstream throughout the Arquipelago, in order to visit Indian settlements. There, you’ll know how they live; their tradition, culture, habit, work etc. Late in the afternoon a fascinating canoe-ride will be organized. This time to visit narrow-water-channels and the exotic flooded-wood-lands of the River. Thus, we will be back to the boat for dinner. Night will be spent in the boat. ( On request, it can be spent in the jungle).

DAY 4 : After a delicious breakfast, our motorized and special canoes will take us to visit the small amazonian villages along the River. Where you’ll see many typical plantations and tropical fruits, such as: manioc plants, guarana trees, cupuaçu, tucumã, coffee trees, mango trees, a lot of typical palm-trees, brasilian nuts, rubber-trees etc. Next, we will start returning back to Manaus. End of the trip; transfer to the hotel or to the airport.
