Expedition Program (10 - 12 or 15 ... days)
DAY 1 : Departuring by boat from Manaus floating docks, you’ll travel futher downstream on the extraordinary Amazon river, as far as, the exotic and wild PINEAPPLE RIVER, where we’ll travel for roughly 48 hours downstream on the Amazon, Madeira and Canumã river, crossing, as well as, several narrow tributaries of the AMAZON RIVER. You’ll enjoy the fantastic scenery of the largest river of the the world. In the late afternoon, you will see groups of herons and cormoranes flying over the jungle. Macaws and groups of parrots will be seen along the river as well. Night will be spent at a narrow Amazon tributary.
DAY 2 : In the morning, we will awake up by the unique calls of groups of amazonian birds, making noise in the whole forest. Then breakfast will be served and continue our long journey toward the wild Pineapple River. In few minutes, we will be arriving to the mounth of the famous MADEIRA RIVER, where you will travel many kilometers upstream ; after some hours, our boat will travel throughout a small river called PARANAZINHO, which offer you an unique scenery. After some time we will arrive to the fascinating CANUMÃ RIVER, where you’ll have a chance to get off the boat and visit a small indian community in the jungle. Afterwards, back to the boat, we will advance throughout a narrow-channel called ARARIÁ for roughly 5 hours, and finally in the late afternoon, we will be arriving to the wild and exotic Pineapple River. Night will be spend at a narrow tributary of this river.
DAY 3 : We will have an early breakfast, then, you’ll proceed too much futher upstream on this river. Lunch will be served at an explored white sandy beach of Pineapple River. After lunch, a wild canoe- ride will be done in order to see wild animals, advancing in paddle canoes throughout the fantastic primary jungle, there will be a good chance to see jaguars and others wild animals. Night will be spent in a beautiful tributary of the amazing river.
DAY 4 : After breakfast, we’ll still go on travelling futher upstream on the Pineapple River, then we arrive to MATAPARÚ, where there will be a wonderful program in the jungle to photograph animals. Lunch will be served in the jungle. In the late afternoon, we will be visiting some indian families. Night will be spent in the jungle.
DAYS 5-6-7-8 : Breakfast at 6 o’clock, next, in few hours we will be arriving to a fantastic tributary of Pineapple River, called GUAMIRIN, where we will be living 4 days into the heart of the Amazon Jungle, far off civilization and far from our boat. So, all provisions will be prepared, it’s time to get on our typical paddle canoe and procced throughout the fabulous wild channels into primary jungle paddling for many miles away. As soon as, we are futher into the forest a rustic hut will be built with the products of the jungle. Then, there will be an incredible program in the amazing Amazon Forest, such as : long jungle-treks, exotic canoe-ride, exploration, swimming, learning of surviving in the jungle, exciting canoe-ride by night to see wild animals, you will participate of a fantastic and exciting program to see and to film jaguars, pumas, panthers, oscilots, monkeys, and others animals. You’ll have the great chance to photograph huge alligators and severals species of birds. Night will be spent in typical hammocks in the heart of the Amazon.
DAY 9 : After breakfast in the jungle, we will return back to the boat and proceed to one of the most exciting, wild, and thrilling river of the Amazon UICHI RIVER, tributary of the magnificent Pineapple River, arriving there, you’ll have an exotic and unforgatable program. There, we’ll make incredible jaguars immitations in order to attract their attention and take beautiful pictures. We will be immitating big alligators and other wild animals. Lunch and dinner will be served in the jungle.
DAYS 10-11-12 : After breakfast, provisions will be prepared we will be spending 3 days in the wild UICHI RIVER, in order to visit unexplored areas, remote and exotic places. During the nights, there will exotic canoe-rides to hear the uncanny sounds of primary jungle ; jaguars, howling monkeys, alligators, birds, frogs, etc. Next, in the late afternoon, we will return back to the boat for dinner and sleep on board.
DAY 13 : After breakfast, the boat take us to another tributary of the pineapple river SURUBIM RIVER, there you be visiting remote settlements, people with different culture, tradition. You will know interesting and curious stories of the region. Then, we’ll advance futher upstream Surubim river in order to visit a giant IGAPÓ ( flooded-wood-lands ), you will cross this huge area in typical paddle canoes. Afterwards, you’ll be visiting a wonderful beach in order to lunch a delicious barbecue and typical delicious Amazon fish. In the afternoon, you have time for a nice fishing in the narrow-creeks of surubin. Night on board.
DAYS 14-15 : During these days, we will be returning back to Manaus, travelling on severals tributaries of the Amazon River, afterwards, we’ll stop at RIO PRETO, where you’ll have a great chance to catch the biggest Amazon Piranhas ( the black ones ). The boat will stop at a beautiful lake, where you’ll have chance to catch different species of fishes, there will be also a fantastic program in CARAPANÃ LAKE in order to immitate huge alligators. You’ll be impressed by the exotic noises of these strange animals. There will be time also to visit small communities along the river, as well as, a huge island in the middle of the Amazon River, in order to visit an enormous hevea-tree plantation. Afterwards, we will be arriving to Manaus. End of expedition. Shuttle to the hotel.
